Franley Farms , is nestled at the base of Masanutten Mountain, with over 1 1/2 miles of river frontage on the Shenandoah River. It sits at the end of a private road, with spectacular views of the river, valley, and mountains. Franley Farms is a working farm, with over 160 acres of land. The secluded river access provides a real fisherman's paradise, while the 4,000 + sq.ft. lodge provides all the comforts of home, with the peace and quiet of the country. Looking west there are mountains that continue all the way to West Virginia.

Spectacular sunsets, rolling meadows, morning mists and abundant wildlife combine to make a stay at the Shenandoah River Lodge a joyful and memorable experience.

As you enter the newly renovated lodge, you will notice the spacious rooms, and the fantastic views from every window. There is a fully-equipped large country kitchen, breakfast room, and formal dining room. The house has two large master bedroom suites, each with a large bathroom offering both a shower and a deep bathtub equipped with Jacuzzi jets. In addition, there is a third bedroom suite that also offers a full bath.

A stunning stone fireplace highlights the lower level, featuring a large wet bar, overstuffed sofas, and a TV with DVD player. A spacious stone patio is easily accessed from every room on this level, perfect for entertaining or just enjoying the views while relaxing in the large hot tub.

Four seasons of sports and activities are close with Bryce Resort about 20 miles to the West and Massanutten Resort about a 30 mile drive. The North Fork of the Shenandoah River offers canoeing, tubing, kayaking and fishing. Horseback riding, golf, sightseeing, antiquing, caverns and vineyards are nearby.
